MIDDLE LEVEL LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE
Every year, the Student Association of Middle Level Educators host this special event for local Middle Level students.
This conference gives 7th grade middle school students from around the Cedar Valley, the opportunity to explore diversity through activities that promote cultural awareness and break down issues dealing with privileges and stereotypes. We hope to inspire students who may have leadership potential but are not necessarily recognized by their peers or themselves as having what it takes to be a positive leader.

MOMENTS FROM THE 2017 conference
The 2017 Middle Level conference was held Friday, October 13, 2017 in the new Schindler Education Center! Almost 100 students from local schools came to UNI to listen, learn and participate. We look forward to planning our next conference for Spring of 2019. SAMLE members planned, participated and enjoyed the whole day.
